During a renovation of this historic home, situated at the foot of the Sangre de Christo Mountains, a 2000 sq. ft. modern extension was added to the existing structure. To unify the addition’s contemporary style with the traditional, this design layout utilizes effective proportioning of spaces and carefully chosen furnishings, fine arts, textures and finishes all of which are emphasized by the dramatic light effects cast from the northern New Mexican sky.
